FLIR E-Series

Thermal imaging cameras have evolved into widespread instruments for predictive maintenance inspections. Electrical and mechanical installations, in large facilities, factories and houses, they can all be inspected with a thermal imaging camera.

The FLIR E-Series are small, lightweight yet rugged, full featured instruments that are designed for those who need higher resolution and more features.

The range is ideal for predictive maintenance and planned inspection of electrical and mechanical systems to ensure they operate at maximum efficiency and safety with minimal energy consumption.

Rugged and easy-to-use

All FLIR E-Series cameras are extremely rugged to face everyday use in the most harsh environments. Their vital inner core is well protected (IP54).

Extremely easy-to-use, all buttons for controlling the FLIR E-Series are right underneath your fingertips.

The large 3.5" display shows clear thermal images.

Clear images

All versions of the E-Series are equipped with a state-of-the-art uncooled Vanadium Oxide microbolometer detector.  According to the user's requirements, one can choose from versions offering 160x120 pixels up to 320 x 240 pixels.  The more pixels means seeing more detail and the more accurate temperature readings so that the smallest of anomalies can be detected.

Accurate temperature readings

Depending on the version, the FLIR E-Series make temperature differences as small as 0.05ºC visible.  They can measure temperatures up to +650ºC. Depending on the version, the FLIR E-Series include analysis tools like multiple spotometers, automatic hot/cold detection markers, isotherm (above/below/interval), automatic calculation of the temperature difference between 2 user defined points in the image.

Thermal and visual camera, laserpointer

FLIR E40, E50 and E60 are equipped with a visual camera as well.  This visual image is often used as a reference together with the thermal image. The visual camera produces 3 Megapixel images. LED lights installed on the front of the camera assure that good quality visual images can also be taken in darker environments.

All FLIR E-Series models come with a laser pointer that will help the user to associate the hot spot on the thermal image with the real physical target in the field.

Full Featured cameras

Depending on the model, FLIR E-Series thermal imaging cameras come with a large number of features that are extremely useful for electrical and maintenance inspections.
  • Picture-in-picture: a function for overlying the thermal image on the visual image
  • Thermal Fusion: merges visual and thermal images for better analysis
  • Text and voice annotations
  • MeterLink: allows to transfer the data acquired by an Extech clampmeter wirelessly to the FLIR E-Series
  • Instant reports: the E60 allows for creating reports directly inside the camera and copy them to a USB stick
  • WiFi: allows wireless transmission of images and other information to a smartphone or tablet PC
All versions allow for easy transfer of images from the camera to a USB stick or directly to a computer.

All versions come with software that allows you to create basic inspection reports as standard.
