Westermo was established in the early 70's in Sweden. Since then the company has developed into a company with subsidiaries in England, Germany, France and partners in 30 countries around the world.

Today the brand, Westermo, is synonymous with Industrial Data Communications. Our experience of the industrial market goes far beyond our own products. We know how to set up different PLC's when you need to connect a modem or advise about cabling, shielding or topology when you are designing your system.

Westermo is a supplier of industrial data communications products, manufacturing a wide range of industrial GSM, GPRS, PSTN and ISDN modems, fibre optic modems and RS-422/485 products. A market leader in the industrial Ethernet arena, the company supplies basic switches, serial converters and SHDSL products as well as advanced layer 3 switches. Westermo have more recently entered the wireless Industrial Ethernet market with both 859 MHz and 2.4 GHz products.
