LS50L FLEX - NEW  FLEXIBLE  BATTERY  HOLE  PUNCHING  TOOL  BY  GREENLEE


Greenlee, known for high quality electrical tools, have launched a new compact hydraulic battery punch driver designed for hard to reach areas.  Ideal for any company working in restricted space or if an effortless hole needs to be punched with minimal noise.  This 50kN tool features the Lithium Ion battery technology giving 50% more power and fast charge times. 

The new, battery-powered, Knockout Punch Driver offers a wide range of punching applications for various hole geometries and for different materials such as mild steel and stainless steel with an automatic stop once punching is completed.

  • Hard to reach areas are now within reach - the 135º rotating punching head and inline tool design ensures you can reach deep inside control panels.
  • Up to 280 punches per charge (depending on what material is used)
  • Punching range of 92x92mm square or 96mm diameter round
  • Lightweight tool (including battery): approximately 2 kg

The unit is equipped with a special brake which stops the pulling motion of the piston when the trigger is released.

The punching head can be smoothly rotated around the transverse and the longtitudinal axis in order to gain better access to tight corners and other difficult working areas.

A white LED illuminates the working space after activiating the trigger.  It automatically switches off 10 seconds after releasing the trigger.  This feature can be deactivated.
 
The compact, ergonomically formed design consists of 2 components.  The grip area is rubber coated and therefore slip resistant.  The housing design has optimised centre of gravity, improving the handling.
 
All tool functions can be controlled by one trigger.  This results in an easy handling and a better grip compared to a two button operation.
 
Li-Ion batteris do neither have a memory effect nor self discharge.  Even after long periods of non-operation the tool is always ready to operate.  In addition we see a lower power-weight ratio with 50% more capacity and shorter charging cycles compared to NiMH batteries.
 
The oil used in our tool is particularly environmentally friendly.  The oil is also suitable for low temperatures and has excellent lubrication characteristics.
